Volunteer

Do you love animals?  Are you at least 21 years of age?  Come volunteer with us! If you have decided that our charity is a good match for your volunteering ideals, we would love to hear from you! Please stop by The Shop during our open hours to receive a volunteer application. All volunteer applications will be reviewed by our board members and if you meet our special criteria, a representative will contact you by telephone / email.

 

Volunteer positions include (but are not limited to):

• Animal care: Socialization, grooming, on-site “minding”

• Facility care: Cleaning and organizing

• Fundraising: Events, direct-to-consumer and database maintenance

• Social networking: Web, Facebook, Twitter

• Education: Assisting and possibly teaching pet support classes

• Administration: Supplies, processes, procedures, scheduling, and transport

 

 

Volunteers will be asked to sign a waiver to ensure your safety and the understanding of our organization's expectations.
